Quality Vacation Club (QVC), operational in the vacation ownership industry in Southern Africa and through our affiliations and accreditations - internationally, has perfected a lifestyle vacation concept. Established in 1995, the Club took the advantages and benefits of conventional timeshare and developed those principles into a vacation product designed to offer our members flexibility and quality vacations at affordable prices, at top national and international destinations. In June 2011, we signed on our 65 000th member and the 16 years since inception have seen the QVC Group go from strength to strength. Today we proudly claim our place as a forerunner of and major contender in the Industry.

Univision

Extensive growth and development together with the concept of a united approach towards challenges and opportunities that prevail in the QVC Group and the Industry at large, led to the creation of an umbrella organisation, geared to coordinate communications and synergies amongst our various service and supply companies within the Group and so the Holding Company UNIVISION was convened.
The mission statement of Univision is; to always see beyond. This is a bold statement and a challenging concept, but in view of the fact that the Group is in a growth phase, in a relatively mature industry, it needs bold moves to make progress and with the dedication and enthusiasm of the Group's leaders and entrepreneurs, the goals of the organisation will be realized and the vision remain inspirational. The organization is made up of the directors of the various companies within the Group and has now extended to include associated clubs and organizations, which are administered by, or linked to the Group.
Univision's aim is to encourage members of the Group and service providers of the Group, to serve on its various committees and boards, so as to ensure a united and dynamic approach to our future in the Industry.

Corporate Structure 

  • Developer acquires stock (accommodation intervals)
  • Stock registered in the Trust
  • Club Units issued in return
  • Club Units sold to Purchaser (new Club members) via Sales Agent
  • New Member becomes a part of the Management Association
  • Management Association (Members) elect a Board of Directors
  • Board of Directors appoint a Managing Agent (VRS) to fulfil the duties of the Association
  • The Managing Agent contracts a specialist company (ACT), in regards to the following services:
    Reservations, Travel and Member Services
