First off, we would like to announce that the Sandy Place Team received new uniforms! The new colour is “Navy Sea” blue with a lovely white trim.

The Resort was scrubbed from top-to-toe to remove all of the moss. Annual maintenance, such as plastering and painting areas that were in need of attention took place. The water supply system also received maintenance, resulting in improved water pressure and supply to each unit. You will also notice the Resort has brand new pots, an array of plants, and trimmings.

The PlayStation console in the Games Room was replaced with a new gaming console, which has an awesome selection of Arcade Classics! The Games Room has been stocked up with some fun board games. The Resort has also taken care of the kids by refitting a new trampoline cover and safety padding.

Sandy Place has replaced the television distribution network, as well as provided new DSTV decoders and an HDMI cable in each unit. All units also received a brand new microwave, new whiskey glasses, and a range of plastic glasses for the little ones.

The Ngwenya Lodge team have been busy-busy-bees!

The Resort recently planted several new succulent gardens. Plus, additional pots, water features, non-water features, stones, and plants have also been added to the gardens.

Ngwenya Lodge also has something new for the kiddies to enjoy – a trampoline! That’s not all though… The Mini-Golf Course has been renovated, pool tables have been refitted with better cloth and rebalanced, and the Games Room has been freshly painted.

The Guest’s Lounge is now complete with ample seating, a bathroom for disabled persons as well as a family room with baby-changing facilities. We are also pleased to announce that every single Resort unit has been refreshed with new curtains, blinds, cushions, pillows, and bedding.

Lastly, all of the Resort’s swimming pools have been re-marbled, received new steps and tiles, and each swimming pool has been fitted with depth indicator tiles. The Hippo Bend Reservoir has also been attended to and has received a new floor and steps at the pump house entrance.

First off, we are excited to announce that the Crystal Springs Shop has been re-stocked with more day-to-day holiday necessities and items, giving you more options!

The Resort team worked super hard last year attending to the Resort grounds and gardens, which received some much-needed maintenance and landscaping. The green shade netting at the Swimming Pool, which separates the pool from the forest, has now been replaced with wooden poles, making it look more natural and appealing. Crystal Springs has also refurbished the Chalet patios and roofs.

The Mini-Golf Course has been upgraded, allowing you and your family to enjoy more fun-filled and adventurous moments together. The paving in front of the Games Room has been redone and is looking good!

When you’re done checking out all the fantastic upgrades and updates around the Resort, head on over to the Le Fera Restaurant and check out the new menu… You won’t be disappointed!

Starting outdoors, the Resort built a windshield around the Swimming Pool with wooden poles. Trees were pruned and gardens were upgraded. A water feature has been built by the Crazy Golf area. Lapas were re-thatched, and the roofs of the smaller Lapas were painted in different colours. A pathway was designed and made with crushed stones leading to the Tennis Court.

Moving indoors, the Resort has purchased five new fridges, and 23 double bed mattresses have been replaced. Furniture, such as tub chairs and couches from the Chalets, have been refurbished. New linen, such as towels, bath mats, and bedding can be found in the Chalets.
